GLENDALE, Ariz. — After a monthslong investigation, an Arizona task force seized drugs and weapons from homes in the West Valley on Friday morning.

A number of people were arrested after warrants were served at homes near 61st and 63rd avenue at Bethany Home Road.

A spokesman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety said while the area is known for gang activity, it isn’t certain anyone arrested had gang affiliations.
