Fall Out Boy and Charli XCX will perform for troops stationed in the Valley as part of this year’s pre-Super Bowl entertainment.
The recording artists are set to headline VH1 + Papa John’s Super Bowl Blitz: A Concert for the Troops at Glendale’s Luke Air Force Base on Jan. 30.
The event will be hosted by former 98 Degrees band member Nick Lachey and will air live on VH1.
Fall Out Boy was named Best Alternative Band at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards. The 22-year-old Charli XCX released her debut album, “True Romance,” in 2013 to positive reviews.
