Super Bowl XLIX badge created for Glendale Police

Nov 20, 2014, 6:30 AM | Updated: 6:30 am

Glendale Police will soon have an opportunity to join the Super Bowl excitement that will be coming to the city in February.

“Officers are so excited,” said Glendale PD spokeswoman Tracy Breeden about the new Glendale Police Super Bowl XLIX Rev. Enamel Oval Shield — a badge that officers can pre-order online.

“We’ve already started receiving them a little at a time. Officers can wear these commemorative badges through the Super Bowl and the rest of 2015.”

The commemorative badge, which is endorsed by the NFL and the Superbowl, is available for $109.99.

Super Bowl XLIX will be played Feb. 1 at University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals.
