Trio of Valley steakhouses among best in US

A new list of the country’s top steakhouses included three local establishments.
OpenTable.com, a restaurant reservation and review site, created a “Top 100 Steakhouses in America” list, based on customer votes — via review — of more than 20,000 restaurants. The site sorted through more than five million reviews to determine its selections.
Open Table explained the impetus for the project.
The American steakhouse is the culinary intersection of class and comfort. Our Top 100 Steakhouses in America awards highlight restaurants that deliver a high-end dining experience that is singular and soothing all at once.
On the list were Phoenix’s Steak 44, Scottsdale’s Mastro’s City Hall Steakhouse and the Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino in Chandler.
Bob’s Steak and Chop House at the Omni Tucson National Resort was also honored on the list.
