PHOENIX — Crews will be busy resurfacing and prepping roads for other projects this weekend. Drivers should take alternate routes or plan for small delays as they pass work zones.
• Westbound Loop 202 will be closed between McDowell Road and Country Club Drive in Mesa from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday to allow crews to create a freeway-widening work zone.
• Westbound Interstate 10 will be narrow to one lane between Watson Road and State Route 85 in Buckeye from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday for resurfacing.
• Eastbound Interstate 10 will narrow to one lane between Miller and Watson roads in Buckeye from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday for resurfacing.
• Northbound State Route 143 will be closed between Interstate 10 and McDowell Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for overhead sign work.
