Arizona is set to become the fifth U.S. market to have access to the marijuana equivalent of the popular electronic cigarette, according to a report from the Phoenix Business Journal.
O.penVape, a Denver based company that sells marijuana e-cigarettes and accessories for medicinal cannabis users, struck a distribution deal with Phoenix-based TruCann LLC.
“There’s currently more than 90 dispensaries and over 52,000 licensed patients,” O.penVAPE’s executive vice president of sales and licensing Chris Driessen said of Arizona’s medical marijuana market. “In addition to serving that customer base, O.penVAPE and TruCann will be ready when full adult-use marijuana becomes legal here.”
There is an ongoing campaign for a marijuana legalization measure on the 2016 ballot.
O.penVape currently operates in four other states: California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington.
