WASHINGTON — House Republican candidate Wendy Rogers has edited out the first two seconds of a campaign ad that showed footage of American victim James Foley before he was beheaded by a member of the Islamic State group. Rogers released the controversial ad on October 6, 2014 but quickly edited the Youtube video after a public uproar and the Internet taking exception.
Rogers criticizes Arizona Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema and her record on national security in the ad. The commercial also poses the question of whether the United States is secure, blaming Sinema and her liberal agenda getting in the way of the nation’s safety.
