Main Street Minute: Bakery giving away breakfast food at grand opening

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Kneaders Bakery and Cafe is opening another location in Mesa on Friday. The bakery will give away French toast to the first 100 customers at the store near Power and McDowell roads. This will be the Utah-based restaurant’s 12th location in the Phoenix area.
• Marriott is holding a job fair Tuesday to hire 100 workers for its Valley sites. The hiring event runs from noon until 5 p.m. at the Courtyard Salt River near Pima and Chapparal roads in Scottsdale. Openings include front desk workers, van drivers and housekeepers.
• Mesa Public Schools is hiring part-time bus drivers. More than 40 positions are available. Perks include paid training and flexible hours. Applicants have to be over 21, have a valid Arizona’s drivers license as well as a clean driving record to be considered.
