Weekend Valley freeway restrictions for Oct. 3-6

PHOENIX — Drivers should expect a relatively-construction weekend on the Valley’s freeways, but some will be restricted.

• Northbound Interstate 17 will be down to one lane between Seventh Street and Seventh Avenue from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday for overhead sign work. The northbound I-17 on-ramp at Seventh Street will be closed during this time.

• Eastbound Interstate 10 will be down to one lane between Miller and Watson roads from midnight to 5 p.m. Saturday for pavement improvements. The eastbound I-10 on- and off-ramps in the area will be closed during this time.

• Eastbound I-10 will be down to one lane between Watson Road and Verrado Way from 11 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday for pavement improvements. The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Verrado Way will be closed from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

• Eastbound I-10 will be down to one lane between Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Riggs Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 8:30 a.m. Saturday for resurfacing.

• Eastbound I-10 will be down to one lane between Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Queen Creek Road from 8 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday for resurfacing.

• Eastbound I-10 will be down to one lane between Queen Creek and Riggs roads from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday for resurfacing.
