Luke Air Force Base made an unbeatable combo in this video, combining their F-35 jets and the remarkable Arizona sunset for an unforgettable sight.
Some Valley residents have been able to see the jets taking off from their homes for decades, but the video does the treat of allowing everyone in the world to soak in the experience.
The video features the jets taking off as we progressively get later in the day as the sunset starts to fade away. It’s an unbelievable view to see the machines up-close and personal, with the powerful engines emitting a large amount of noise in the video.
Luke Air Force Base trains F-35 and F-16 fighter pilots. It was built in 1940 and has been in use since 1941.
As of 2013, the base holds a total of 144 F-35A Lighting II jets.
