2 arrested in shooting, stabbing in north Phoenix

PHOENIX — Two people were arrested Friday evening after getting into an altercation that left two others seriously injured in north Phoenix.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Steve Martos said one man suffered a gun shot wound, while another victim was stabbed near Cave Creek and Lone Mountain roads around 7 p.m. Martos said the gun shot victim’s injury was critical and life-threatening.
Martos said Phoenix police detained two suspects at the scene.
He said the scene is still active and that police are still trying to determine what had occurred.
