Main Street Minute: Job fairs interviewing, Jack giving away burgers

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• There are three job fairs scheduled around the Valley for Thursday. Team Security is holding a hiring event at the Goodwill career center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. near 17th Avenue and Camelback Road. The Washington Elementary School District is also hiring from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Goodwill career center near 35th and Peoria avenues. Terminix is also hosting an event from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at its Glendale offices in the Westgate District.
• Jack in the Box is giving away a million burgers. You can get a coupon for a free double Jack or jumbo Jack at the company’s Website.
• Get ready for an influx of Japanese food. Due North Holdings of Scottsdale has announced a partnership with Hotland Company of Japan to open 1,000 Japanese restaurant concepts in the U.S. over the four years. The Phoenix Business Journal reported Arizona will likely see its first concept by the end of this year.
