Main Street Minute: Phoenix restaurant to host grand opening

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Downtown Phoenix has a new pub. The Kettle Black Kitchen and Pub has opened with a limited menu near First Avenue and Washington Street. Phoenix New Times reports the official opening takes place Friday.

• A popular Italian restaurant is expanding in Arizona. According to the Phoenix Business Journal, Sauce Pizza and Wine plans to open locations in Gilbert and Tucson this year. The East Valley location is expected to be ready in August. The chain already has four sites in Phoenix, two in Scottsdale, one each in Chandler, Mesa and three in Tucson.
