Business hopefuls to pitch their ideas at suburban Phoenix Startup Weekend

PHOENIX — Maybe the next Pandora will come out of Startup Weekend, a grassroots event for entrepreneurs, to be held in Chandler this weekend.
Workspace-sharing site Gangplank will host the 48-hour workshop for budding business owners.
During the weekend, participants will pitch business ideas, from there the best will be culled and teams will build a business model, then show them off to local startup creators.
The weekend kicks off Friday at 6:30 p.m. and ends Sunday night.
Gangplank is at Arizona Avenue and Frye Road.
