Main Street Minute: Phoenix restaurant hiring for expansion

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Nook Kitchen will hold a three-day job fair to fill 60 openings. The event starts Monday at 10 a.m. at the restaurant near 36th Street and Indian School Road. Nook is hiring for its second site this one set to open inside the downtown Phoenix Hilton Garden Inn in March.
• A new car dealership is coming to the Valley. Mullin360.com has announced a Courtesy Volvo will be located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The auto mall at the will open next year. It’s the first master-planned auto park ever built on tribal land.
• The Phoenix Police Department is looking for qualified minority men and women to join the team. Saturday morning minority officers of all ranks and department units will talk to the curious starting at 10 a.m. at Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church near 12th and Jefferson streets.
