PHOENIX — In case you missed it (read: you haven’t walked outside), June was a hot month in the Valley.
The seventh-hottest June on record, to be exact.
The overall average June temperature in Phoenix was 93 degrees.
Marvin Percha with the National Weather Service said the Valley reached a high of 100 for all 30 days.
“The average high was 106.2 and the average low was 80.1 degrees,” he said.
It has now been 122 days without rainfall in Phoenix but that streak could be coming to an end soon. Percha said the Valley could see a dust storm Thursday afternoon and possibly some rain over the Fourth of July weekend.
