PHOENIX — Is baseball player the next career step for former Rep. Gabby Giffords?
Giffords was in Washington, D.C. Wednesday night to throw out the first pitch for the annual Congressional Women’s Softball Game.
Giffords showed her excitement on Twitter — complete with a little trash-talking to a certain rapper who utterly flubbed his first pitch recently.
.@50cent, bet you my first pitch will be better than yours was! http://t.co/xDD67bdBNh

The annual softball game brings female Republican and Democrat lawmakers together in one united cause: Breast cancer research and awareness.
This year, the ladies defeated some of the reporters from CNN.
