Phoenix Fire Department to hold free immunization clinic

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Fire Department’s Baby Shots Program will hold a free immunization clinic at Phoenix Children’s Hospital from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The free clinic will provide vaccinations to children eligible under the Vaccine for Children’s Program (VFC) and will conduct check-ups before school begins in August.
Phoenix Fire Baby Shots will provide all shots required for daycare, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school.
The free immunization clinic will also give vaccines against 13 childhood diseases.
The Vaccines for Children program is a federally funded program providing vaccines to low-income children who might not otherwise be able to afford them.
