Bus, truck crash on I-17 south, backup reached several exits long

PHOENIX — A city bus and truck collided on southbound Interstate 17 at Thunderbird Road on Thursday morning, backing up traffic for a handful of exits.

The logjam reached Union Hills Drive.

The freeway was fully reopened about 11:35 a.m.
