Denver police say one person is dead and six others injured in a shooting and stabbing at a motorcycle expo.
Police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez says the incident occurred about 1 p.m. Saturday at the National Western Complex. The Colorado Motorcycle Expo is being held this weekend at the complex.
Dr. Kevin McVaney of Denver Health Medical Center said six people were admitted to the hospital. He said three were in critical condition and three were stable.
McVaney did not release details about what injuries they were being treated for.
Law enforcement sources told NBC News that the fight was between the Mongols and Iron Order biker gangs. They also said that two from each gang were in grave condition.
Similar reports have come from local news stations in Denver.

Bob Cook told the Denver Post that the shooting happened near his leather goods company booth.
Cook said he heard two shots fired and saw people dive under tables. He said he didn’t hear any arguments before the shooting and doesn’t know what prompted it.
Lopez said police are still investigating and no arrests have been made.
