Across the U.S., support for gay marriage is now at an all-time high, and Phoenix is hopping on the band wagon.

According to a recent Gallup poll, 55 percent of Americans are in support of same-sex marriage. In order to show their support for Pride Month, NerdWallet, composed a list of the most lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender- friendly cities in the country.

Phoenix was ranked number 19, just behind Los Angeles, Caif. Phoenix received a 72.32 percent tolerance rating.

The rankings were based on three criteria — presence of gay community, LGBT-friendly laws and opportunities and LGBT safety and tolerance.

The most tolerant city was Seattle.
