Got a misdemeanor in Glendale? ‘Wipe it out’ this weekend

Jun 10, 2014, 5:00 AM | Updated: 5:00 am

PHOENIX — Get ready for the Glendale Warrant Wipeout.

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday, you can come in for an expedited court process and clear up any misdemeanor warrants with the city.

“It’s a safe non-arrest option for them (the public) to take care of their warrant,” said Sgt. Jay O’Neill with Glendale Police. “They’ll see a judge, they can set up a payment plan if it’s a failure to pay-type situation or set up a future court date and get the warrant taken care of.”

The program runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday. The court will be open Saturday to accommodate the program.
