Police chase ends in crash, two injured

Two suspects fled Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers in a stolen pickup truck and crashed the vehicle on Interstate 19.
The driver suffered minor injuries while the passenger has serious injuries. The passenger was not wearing a safety restraint.
The vehicle was located by an ADPS detective assigned to the Arizona Vehicle Theft Task Force in the Green Valley area. After a traffic stop was initiated, the pickup truck sped away.
Driving on Interstate 19, the driver exited and then re-entered the interstate, which led to the driver losing control and rolling over several times.
The driver was transported to a local hospital and the passenger was airlifted.
