PHOENIX — It looks like #BeRedSeeRed has officially made its way to New York.

In honor of AFC and NFC Championship Games, the Empire State Building will be lit up on Sunday in the colors of all four opponents: New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, and — of course — the Arizona Cardinals.

The lights will be split up amongst the different sides of the building: The East side will be lit in red, white and blue for the Patriots, the North side will be lit in blue, orange and white for the Broncos, the West side will be lit in sky blue and white for the Panthers and the South side (and the best side) will be lit in red and white for the Cardinals.

After Sunday’s games, the Empire State Building will be whittled down to two colors: The colors of the winners who will face off in Super Bowl 50.

To lead off on Sunday, the Patriots will play the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game at 1:05 p.m. Arizona time, before the Cardinals swoop in to play the Panthers in the NFC Championship Game at 4:40 p.m. Arizona time.

This isn’t the first time the building has gotten involved in sports: The Empire State Building lit up in honor of the College Football National Championship Game in January, donning University of Alabama and Clemson University colors.

For those who can’t make it to either New York or North Carolina for the game, send the team off to North Carolina in a big red rage at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport on Saturday — and don’t forget to wear your Cardinals gear!

We want to hear from you.
