PHOENIX — If you hear a lot of engines rumbling over the next week in Scottsdale, it’s likely not rush hour traffic on the Loop 101.

The 45th annual Barrett-Jackson auto auction begins Saturday and runs through Jan. 31 at Westworld of Scottsdale near the Loop 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.

In addition to the auction, the event will also feature a gala, several symposiums on everything you could need to know about owning a classic car and even a bull-riding contest.

Tickets for the auction start as low as $11 per day for adults, but can be as high as $75. Prices vary by day and are cheaper if purchased in advance.

Tickets for Saturday are the most expensive, which is not really shocking considering that day’s auction features some of the event’s top draws on the block.

A full-week pass is available. Prices start at $175.

VIP tickets and passes are also available.

Discounts are available on all tickets for children, seniors, the military and students.

There’s plenty of parking around the auction, along with valet service.

This year’s auction is full of classic cars — as it is every year — but there are some notable rides that will hit the block.

Flip through the gallery below to see some of the highlights of this year’s docket.

We want to hear from you.
