Weekend freeway restrictions in Phoenix area for Jan. 22-25

PHOENIX — According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the following travel advisories have been issued for the weekend of Jan. 22:

• Interstate 10 will be narrowed to three lanes in both directions near Dysart Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday for sign-structure construction. I-10 will also close its HOV lanes in both directions near Dysart Road from 5 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday for sign-structure construction.

• Northbound State Route 51 ramp to westbound Loop 101 in northeast Phoenix will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday for bridge work.

• Southbound State Route 51 on-ramp at Thomas Road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for utility-related work at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

• Northbound Interstate 17 off-ramp at 19th Avenue will be closed from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for pavement repairs.

• Southbound Interstate 17 will be closed temporarily at Dixileta Drive in north Phoenix and eastbound Loop 303 will also be closed temporarily two miles west of I-17 from 12:01 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday for overhead sign-structure work.

• Northbound Interstate 17 will be closed temporarily near Deer Valley Road or Jomax Road from 12:01 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Sunday for overhead sign-structure work.

• Broadway Road will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at Loop 202 in Mesa from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Sunday for pavement repairs. Loop 202 on- and off-ramps at Broadway Road will remain open with lane restrictions in place.
