Main Street Minute: Job fairs set for Valley, ice cream shop to open in Scottsdale

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• The Baked Bear is coming to the Valley. The popular San Diego-based ice cream sandwich shop is set to open near Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale in the spring. The shop offers more than a dozen ice cream flavors and more than a dozen flavors of cookies. They also offer gluten free options.
• Drive Time is holding interviews Tuesday in the East Valley. It runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. near Southern Avenue and Power Road in Mesa. Open positions include customer service, recruiter, operations support and sales.
• Another big job fair will take place Tuesday near Sky Harbor. The Holiday Inn and Suites Phoenix Airport will host the event from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The hotel is near 48th Street and University Drive. Multiple employees looking to fill hundreds of local positions immediately. Dress to impress and bring plenty of resumes.
