Weekend Valley freeway restrictions for April 18-21

PHOENIX — Several freeways closures across the Valley will complicate driving in some areas this weekend, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
A project on the Southbound Loop 101 that would have closed the highway between Olive and Northern avenues and on-ramps in the area has been canceled. The traffic-technology project was postponed.
• Northbound Loop 202 will be closed between McDowell and Indian School roads from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Sunday for paving with rubberized asphalt.
• Westbound Loop 202 will be closed between Hawes and Power roads from 11 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Saturday for State Route 24-related links.
