Report: Phoenix area among best for millennials

PHOENIX — Attention all young people! Now that Coachella has come to a close and it’s time to return to the real world, have you thought about moving to Phoenix?
According to Niche Ink, the Phoenix area was ranked the 16th-best for millennials.
About 14 percent of the city’s population is aged between 25 and 34. Phoenix also boasts a low median rent at $934 with a median income of $29,139 and a below average crime score.
The Phoenix area is also home to one of the best neighborhoods for millennials — Tempe.
Overall, the best city for millennials was New York City, followed by Austin, Texas, Washington, D.C., Chicago and San Francisco, respectively.
