PHOENIX — A collision between two pool trucks spilled several gallons of acid onto a Scottsdale roadway Friday, fire officials said.
The two trucks collided late Friday morning near 115th Street and Cochise, Scottsdale South Battalion Chief Roderick Thompson said in an email.
Hazardous materials crews were dispatched to cleanup four gallons of muriatic acid that was spilled on the roadway. A different chemical was used to deactivate the acid.
Thompson said cleanup was not expected to take long.
