Arizona Diamondbacks to host anthem singer tryouts

PHOENIX — If you’ve got a good voice and “American Idol” isn’t your thing, you may want to head to Chase Field this weekend.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will be hosting national anthem singer tryouts on Saturday.

Performers are encouraged to arrive anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. They will be auditioned in the order in which they arrived.

Auditions are free and open to all ages, but children under 18 must be with a parent or legal guardian.
