Weekend Valley freeway restrictions for March 7-10

PHOENIX — Drivers in both the North and far West Valley should plan on leaving a bit early this weekend, as some freeways and ramps will be closed.

• The southbound Interstate 17 ramps to east- and westbound Loop 101 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement repairs. The northbound I-17 ramp to Loop 101 and the southbound I-17 on-ramp at Deer Valley Road will also be closed at this time.

• Loop 303 and Cotton Road will be closed in both directions between McDowell and Indian School roads from 4 a.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday for Loop 303/Interstate 10 interchange. McDowell between Sarival Avenue and Citrus Road will also be closed at this time.

• Loop 101 will be down to one lane in each direction between Camelback Road and Northern Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday for HOV ramp work.
