PHOENIX — Human trafficking, prostitution and the exploitation of minors are all concerns for Arizona ahead of the 2015 Super Bowl.
A new study found more than 30 ads for prostitution during the game that may have featured minors, a researcher at the School of Social Work at Arizona State University.
“Out of the 1,900 in Phoenix, we identified 34 ads that have a very strong chance of being minors,” said Dominique Roe-Sepowitz with the school, adding that the numbers are about the same as she has seen in the past few years.
The study was funded by the McCain Institute and called for more training and support from law enforcement to combat the issue.
