Flight attendant/angel keeps baby happy on long plane ride

Jan 4, 2016, 2:25 PM | Updated: 3:15 pm

Flight attendants are pros at customer service, multitasking and can direct you to safety in the event of an emergency.

And at least one is an extraordinary baby whisperer.

A young mother went the social-media route to thank a Southwest flight attendant who helped keep her fidgety baby happy during a long holiday plane ride. The attendant strolled the aisles carrying Heather Gooch’s little guy, who was all smiles, and an infant crisis was averted.

It was his first trip, his mom said, and the time the attendant, Anissa Charles, spent with him allowed his parents to grab a snack and relax a bit.

I wanted to thank her and let her know how appreciated she is,” Gooch wrote.

Let’s be honest, a noncrying baby is a win for the whole plane.

Charles cheerfully responded that the kid made her day.

No, Anissa Charles, you made our day.
