John Campos Sr. has been arrested by Phoenix Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed.
Police responded to a suspicious person call on 24th Street and Broadway and the caller gave the name ‘John Campos’ in the call according to Phoenix Police.
Officers found Campos, who briefly fled on a bicycle on 23rd Street and Magnolia. Campos collided with a vehicle while on his bicycle and was then arrested and police confirmed his identity as John Campos Sr.
Officials last week said that Campos allegedly shot and killed Frank Pascua in a carjacking outside of Wild Horse Pass Casino on December 24.
Earlier this week a $5,000 reward was announced for information related to the shooting.
Police had previously recovered the stolen vehicle and had been monitoring several locations.
Pascua, 52, had a winter home in the Valley.
