$1 million Powerball ticket sold in Chandler

PHOENIX — Someone in Chandler is $1 million richer after Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, the Arizona Lottery said in a release.

“We are thrilled that another Arizona player has won a $1 million Powerball second prize and that we had five $10,000 winners from [the] draw,” said Karen Bach, director of budget, products and communications for the Arizona Lottery. “We are excited that the number of new millionaires statewide is continuing to grow, and we look forward to presenting the check to the winner.”

The winning ticket was sold at 7351 W. Chandler Blvd.

The ticket is the 30th $1 million ticket sold in Arizona.
