PHOENIX — Part of a Valley landmark went up in flames early Friday morning, but the family behind Schnepf Farms said they would rebuild.
No one was injured in the blaze, which destroyed the Queen Creek farmhouse and an office, the family posted on Facebook. The farmhouse is a popular site for weddings and receptions.

Mark and Carrie Schnepf’s business includes a much-loved Pumpkin and Chili Party in the fall and a peach festival in the spring.
The farm at Rittenhouse and Riggs roads has been operating for 50 years, started by Ray and Thora Schnept.
The farm was named an Arizona Treasure by Gov. Janet Napolitano in 2006.
The Schnepfs said several events would go forward, including Breakfast with Santa, set for Saturday.
