PHOENIX — A second crime in a few days has shaken up shoppers at Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe, after a man robbed a jewelry store Monday evening.
Tempe Police said the suspect walked into Capri Jewelers around 5 p.m., flashed a gun and forced an employee to give him a piece of jewelry worth about $10,000 before escaping.
Police searched the mall but came away empty-handed.
The suspect is described as 6 foot 2 or taller, thin and in his early 20s. Tempe Police can be reached at 480-350-8311.
A few days before, police responded to a shooting in a parking lot at the mall, in which one person was injured. An arrest was made the next day.
