Police bust suspected drug lab west of Phoenix

PHOENIX — Police in Goodyear have shut down a suspected drug lab in an apartment complex and arrested one man late Wednesday.
Eight units at the Desert Sage Apartments were evacuated because of the hazardous material. Police received an anonymous report of a smell at the complex near Interstate 10 and Dysart Road.
Officers and agent from a a state drug-trafficking task force found flammable chemicals in an apartment and arrested Joshua Todd Miller, 21, on drug charges.
Residents were able to return to their homes around 9:30 p.m.
