Cindy McCain, reality TV star visit kids at Phoenix Children’s Hospital

PHOENIX — Sick children at Phoenix Children’s Hospital had two special visitors Thursday.

Cindy McCain and Mike Fourtner, from the television show “Deadliest Catch,” spent time speaking with the children and handing out surprises.

“I’m here to put a smile on kids’ faces, bottom line,” said Fourtner.

McCain and Fourtner connected because of their interest in children’s healthcare. Fourtner is a new father to a set of healthy identical twins. However, the twins spent time in the NICU immediately after theit birth.

“In seeing other kids that were in there, it definitely brings it all into perspective,” he said.
