Man on bike hit by car in north Phoenix

PHOENIX — A bicyclist was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in a north Phoenix intersection Thursday morning.

Phoenix Police have closed Thunderbird Road in both directions near 26th Avenue to investigate.

The accident happened around 6:30 a.m.

No other details were immediately available.
