PHOENIX — Before getting down to city council business Monday night, Chandler leaders will honor four residents just returning from overseas service.

The Arizona Patriot Guard will escort Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael Perez, Army Maj. Rob Polston, Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Marc Sepulveda and Navy Cmdr. Martin Sepulveda to City Hall for the ceremony.

The public is invited to the ceremony, which starts at 6 p.m. in chambers at 88 E. Chicago St., just east of Arizona Avenue.

This marks the first time Chandler is participating in Operation Welcome Home, a national program to honor military members who return from overseas deployment or are preparing to leave.

We want to hear from you.
