Multiple Phoenix flights affected by Los Angeles airport shooting

PHOENIX — Multiple flights scheduled to arrive and depart from Phoenix Sky Harbor were delayed by a shooting at Los Angeles International Airport.

Sky Harbor later clarified that seven flights were canceled. Five were on Southwest, one was on US Airways and one was on Delta.
Officials also said seven outbound flights, three from US Airways and four from United, to Los Angeles were delayed
Ten flights originally scheduled to land in Los Angeles were diverted to Phoenix after the shooting. American, Delta, Southwest and US Airways flights were affected.
One person was killed and several others were wounded in the shooting. Los Angeles Police said Friday that the shooter was in custody.
