PHOENIX — Three suspects are on the loose after a gas station robbery and Phoenix Police are seeking the public’s help to find them.
The incident happened Aug. 28 at about 9 p.m. when a man and woman, both around 30-40, entered a Valero near I-17 and Bethany Home Road and started yelling and demanding items from the elderly clerk. Phoenix Police say this was to serve as a distraction. A third man, about 25-30, entered the store soon after the first two left and slapped the clerk and asked for the money in the till, threatening to beat him up.
After getting the money, the three headed southbound on the I-17 frontage road in a white Chevrolet HHR. All three suspects were black with brown hair and brown eyes. The first man was bald with a mustache and the second man had a goatee and was wearing a red and black baseball cap.
