For some holiday lovers, a year without watching the classics would be like a year without Santa Claus.
Luckily, thanks to Prism TV’s ability to search, record and view on the go, you won’t have to miss out on Christmas film traditions.
Here are a few holiday films you won’t want to skip:
Elf: Dec. 4, ABC Family
Follow Buddy the (human) Elf as he leaves the North Pole to search for his dad. Can Buddy survive in New York City, spread Christmas cheer and get his father off of the “naughty list?”
Peter Pan Live!: Dec. 4, NBC
While not specifically a Christmas show, who could pass on gathering to watch the live version of our favorite boy who never grows up?
The Bridge: Dec. 6, Hallmark Channel
Based on the novel by the same name, “The Bridge” follows two lovers who must choose between love and what is expected of them.
Iron Chef America: Winter Ice Battle: Dec. 11, Food Network
Food Network’s Iron Chefs Bobby Flay and Jose Garces take on Iron Chefs Masaharu Morimoto and Geoffrey Zakarian in a frozen wonderland, where food must be served on elaborate places carved from huge blocks of ice.
The Santa Clause: Dec. 18, ABC Family
A 1994 American Christmas fantasy family comedy-drama film starring Tim Allen and Judge Reinhold. When an unexpected accident inadvertently kills Santa on Christmas Eve, a man finds himself magically recruited to take his place and changes the future of Christmas.
Holiday in Handcuffs: Dec. 19, ABC Family
This movie begs the question: If you can’t find true love on Christmas, why not steal it? What could go wrong with such a horrible plan?
It’s a Wonderful Life: Dec. 24, NBC
A heartwarming, family film where a family man learns the true meaning of success.
A Christmas Story: Dec. 25, TBS
Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without pink bunny suits, risqué table lamps and a Chinese Christmas dinner. The Christmas Story is the foundation of all Holiday movie classics.
ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas Schedule has the classics such as:
- The Polar Express
- Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- Frosty’s Winter Wonderland
- Jack Frost (animated)
- Fred Claus
- The Little Drummer Boy
- Home Alone
- And more.
With all of the holiday shopping and places to go, Prism TV lets you watch all of these shows with your smartphone, laptop or tablet.
Family time spent watching movies is the most important benefit of all. If holiday binge watching is a tradition you would like to start, don’t procrastinate. That’s reserved for last minute shopping on Christmas Eve.
