Main Street Minute: Hotel tweaks name, Phoenix pizza chain expands

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Flower Child opened doors at its third Valley location on Tuesday. This one is in the Uptown Plaza shopping center on Camelback Road and Central Avenue. Flower Child is a healthy fast-casual restaurant with a wide selection of healthy options for lunch and dinner. The heart of the menu is the “build-your-own plate”, where guests can mix and match nearly 300 different combinations of seasonal vegetables, fruits, and grains with or without their favorite protein.
• AT&T opens another concept store in the Valley, this one at Tempe Marketplace. The store features specialized zones and learning tables. It opens this week. Other area locations are in Phoenix and Goodyear.
• Valley pizza chain Fired Pie fires up the ovens Tuesday at its 11th location statewide. The first Tempe restaurant is at the corner of University and farmers. The pizza restaurant opened its first location in Phoenix just two years ago.
• New stationery is in order for a downtown Phoenix hotel. The Sheraton Grand Phoenix has replaced the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown as the official designation. The hotel is near Third and Van Buren streets.
