Take a bow, Sun Devils.

According to ASU News, Arizona State University was named among the top 100 universities in the world in a new study.

According to the authors of the rankings, among the world’s best universities, ASU is, “perhaps the most advanced globally in terms of merging the boundaries between academic disciplines. President Michael Crow has led Arizona in a strategy of differentiation, whereby the university’s academic profile is focused upon intellectual fusion around major international challenges.”

ASU made its first appearance in the rankings in 2003 and has been in the top 100 since 2006.

This year, ASU came in at number 79 overall, 46th in the United States and 25th in all public universities in the U.S.

Overall, Harvard was the top university on Earth, followed by Stanford, the University of California at Berkeley, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Cambridge in England, respectively.

The study was conducted by the Center for World-Class Universities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
