Mesa police arrest three suspected of grocery store robberies

PHOENIX — Three people have been arrested on suspicion of robbing customers at gunpoint in Mesa grocery store parking lots, police said.
The robberies began Nov. 4 at the WinCo Foods on Southern Avenue and Power Road. Police said one masked suspect would hold up the victim at gunpoint and then flee in a waiting vehicle.
The suspects allegedly committed five robberies in total.
Police said stolen items were found in the suspects’ residence.
All the suspects — Jessica Rotar, Melisssa Gregg and Matthew Lybarger — face armed robbery charges. Lybarger faces two additional drug charges.
