Senator McCain spends Fourth of July with troops in Afghanistan

Arizona Senator John McCain made a surprise visit to Afghanistan Thursday.

He made the trip to celebrate the Fourth of July along with American troops in who are in Kabul.

Six of the troops went through a reenlisting ceremony, which McCain presided over as a member of the Senate Armed Service Committee.

Republican Senator Lindsay Graham accompanied McCain on the visit.

McCain has sent several tweets during his visit, saying the troops in Afghanistan represent the best of America.
