Main Street Minute: Arizona Snowbowl opening Nov. 20, hiring for winter

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Arizona Snowbowl is still looking to fill a few open positions, inclduing snowmakers and children’s ski instructors. The resort is slated for a Nov. 20 opening.
• The Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl on Dec. 29 in Tucson will have more than just an online broadcast. The American Sports Network struck a deal with the first-year bowl for the television rights. Regional sports networks will be offered live broadcasts of the game, featuring teams from Conference USA and the Mountain West Conference.
• A taco place has opened in Tempe just east of University and Hardy drives. Taco Shack offers all-day breakfast and delivery through phone apps such as GrubHub.
